AIOps
Definition
AIOps is the use of machine learning and, increasingly, language models in IT operations to group alerts, detect anomalies, suggest causes and automate routine responses.
Why it matters when you’re buying
It promises less alert noise and faster diagnosis, but results depend on the quality of the underlying telemetry and how well the tool understands your environment. Test it on your own past incidents.
How it relates to other terms
AIOps works on observability data and usually hands its findings to the ITSM platform as incidents or changes.
