AMD (Advanced Micro Devices) is a US semiconductor company founded in 1969 and headquartered in Santa Clara, California. It designs EPYC server CPUs, Ryzen client processors, Radeon graphics, Instinct data centre GPU accelerators with the ROCm software stack, and adaptive computing products from Xilinx, acquired in 2022, for data centre, HPC, AI, PC, gaming and embedded markets.

Intel is a US semiconductor company that designs and manufactures x86 processors, including Xeon data centre CPUs and Core client processors, along with Gaudi AI accelerators, networking and edge computing products. Through Intel Foundry it also manufactures chips for external customers. Founded in 1968 by Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce and headquartered in Santa Clara, California, Intel is listed on Nasdaq.

HPE

Spring (Houston), Texas, USA

HPE, the primary brand of Hewlett Packard Enterprise since June 2025, is a US enterprise technology company that sells servers, storage, networking and hybrid cloud services, including the HPE GreenLake cloud platform. Formed in 2015 when Hewlett-Packard split in two, HPE focuses on edge-to-cloud infrastructure and AI, and it expanded its networking business by acquiring Juniper Networks in July 2025.

Dell Technologies

Round Rock, Texas, USA

Dell Technologies is an American technology company headquartered in Round Rock, Texas. It sells PCs, servers, storage, networking and data protection products and services, including PowerEdge servers, PowerStore, PowerScale and PowerMax storage, PowerProtect data protection and the Dell AI Factory. Dell was founded by Michael Dell in 1984; Dell Technologies was formed in 2016 when Dell acquired EMC. It is listed on the NYSE (DELL).

Lenovo

Hong Kong, China

Lenovo is a multinational technology company that makes PCs, smartphones, servers, storage and IT services. Its Infrastructure Solutions Group sells ThinkSystem servers, ThinkAgile hyperconverged systems, ThinkSystem storage and Neptune liquid-cooled systems for HPC and AI. Founded in Beijing in 1984, Lenovo is listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and acquired IBM's PC business in 2005 and x86 server business in 2014.

Supermicro

San Jose, California, USA

Supermicro (Super Micro Computer, Inc.) is a US maker of servers, storage systems and data centre infrastructure, founded in 1993 by Charles Liang and headquartered in San Jose, California. It builds GPU-accelerated AI and HPC systems, rack-scale solutions and direct liquid cooling for cloud providers, enterprises and research institutions. Supermicro is listed on Nasdaq.

IBM

Armonk, New York, USA

IBM is a US technology company providing hybrid cloud and AI software, infrastructure and consulting. Its portfolio includes Red Hat OpenShift, the watsonx AI and data platform, IBM Z mainframes and Power servers, IBM Storage, Db2 databases, and automation and observability software such as Instana and HashiCorp Terraform. Founded in 1911 and headquartered in Armonk, New York, IBM is listed on the NYSE.

Fujitsu

Fujitsu is a Japanese information and communications technology company providing IT services, consulting, servers, storage and advanced computing. It co-developed the Fugaku supercomputer with RIKEN, designed the Arm-based A64FX processor, and is developing the FUJITSU-MONAKA data centre CPU. Founded in 1935, Fujitsu serves enterprises and governments worldwide and is listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Bull

France

Bull is a French advanced computing company specialising in high-performance computing, AI infrastructure and quantum computing. It designs and manufactures BullSequana supercomputers and servers and develops the Qaptiva quantum software suite. Founded in 1931 and part of Atos from 2014, Bull has been owned by the French State since 31 March 2026, when the State completed its acquisition of Atos's Advanced Computing business.

Penguin Solutions

Penguin Solutions is a technology company that designs, builds, deploys and manages high-performance computing and AI infrastructure, and also sells specialty memory and LED products. Formerly SMART Global Holdings (SGH), the company adopted the Penguin Solutions name in 2024. Its portfolio includes Penguin Computing HPC and AI clusters, cluster management software, SMART Modular memory solutions and related services for enterprises, research institutions and government.

Cerebras

Sunnyvale, California, USA

Cerebras Systems is a US AI computing company founded in 2015 and headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. It builds the Wafer-Scale Engine, a processor made from an entire silicon wafer, and CS-series systems built around it, and offers the Cerebras inference cloud and on-premises AI supercomputers. Cerebras has been listed on Nasdaq under the ticker CBRS since May 2026.

Groq

Mountain View, California, USA

Groq is a US AI chip and inference company that designed the Language Processing Unit (LPU), a deterministic processor built for fast, low-latency inference of large language models. It offers GroqCloud, an API platform serving open models, and GroqRack on-premises systems. Groq was founded in 2016 by Jonathan Ross, a co-creator of Google's TPU, and is headquartered in Mountain View, California.

SambaNova

Palo Alto, California, USA

SambaNova, formally SambaNova Systems, is an AI computing company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, founded in 2017. It designs Reconfigurable Dataflow Unit (RDU) processors, such as the SN40L, and sells full-stack AI inference systems and services, including SambaNova Cloud for fast inference of open-source large language models and on-premises SambaStack deployments. It is privately held and venture-backed.

CoreWeave

Livingston, New Jersey, USA

CoreWeave is an American AI cloud provider headquartered in Livingston, New Jersey. It operates data centres offering GPU-accelerated compute, storage and networking for training and running AI models, with managed Kubernetes and Slurm services. Founded in 2017 as Atlantic Crypto, it pivoted to cloud computing, listed on Nasdaq (CRWV) in March 2025 and acquired AI developer platform Weights & Biases in 2025.

Lambda

Lambda is an AI infrastructure company that provides GPU cloud computing for training and running AI models, including on-demand instances, reserved clusters and private cloud capacity based on NVIDIA GPUs. It also offers the Lambda Stack software distribution and has sold GPU workstations and servers. Formerly known as Lambda Labs, the company was founded in 2012 by Stephen and Michael Balaban.

Arm

Cambridge, England, United Kingdom

Arm is a British semiconductor IP company founded in 1990 and headquartered in Cambridge, England. It designs the Arm instruction set architecture and licenses CPU cores (Cortex, Neoverse), GPUs and compute subsystems to chipmakers, underpinning most smartphones and a growing share of data centre, automotive and edge chips. SoftBank Group is Arm's majority owner; it listed on Nasdaq in 2023.

Qualcomm

San Diego, California, USA

Qualcomm is a US semiconductor and wireless technology company headquartered in San Diego, California, founded in 1985. It designs Snapdragon system-on-chips, 5G modems and RF systems for smartphones, PCs, vehicles and IoT devices, and licenses its extensive portfolio of cellular patents. Qualcomm also sells edge AI platforms and Cloud AI inference accelerators, and is listed on Nasdaq.

Tenstorrent

Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Tenstorrent is an AI and RISC-V computing company founded in 2016 in Toronto, Canada, and led by chief executive Jim Keller. It designs AI accelerators based on its Tensix cores, including the Wormhole and Blackhole processors, sells cards and workstation and server systems, and licenses RISC-V CPU and AI IP. Its software stacks, including TT-Metalium, are open source.

Graphcore

Bristol, England, United Kingdom

Graphcore is a British semiconductor company that designs the Intelligence Processing Unit (IPU), a processor architecture for machine learning, together with the Poplar software stack. Its products include the Bow IPU and IPU-POD systems for AI training and inference. Founded in 2016 by Nigel Toon and Simon Knowles and based in Bristol, Graphcore was acquired by SoftBank Group in 2024.
